cool display at one end of the Long Beach Motorama of speed parts and memorabilia

this is one hell of a cool collection, and that some guys went to the effort and risk of having it sit on display is amazing

My award for best of show, 2011 Goodguys Del Mar Nationals goes to Ralph Whitworth and this exquisite leather interior and hemi engined t bucket

I want to know who did this interior, I want some leather like this!

Love the floor, the minimalist appearance of gauges and the leather glove box, geez that leather covered trans tunnel is awesome. That is top shelf, friends.
Damn cool header in the left corner of the above photo

Damn I love these seats

Sweet tank straps and trunk... that trunk isn't paint matched, but I like the patina, and love the size

John of T Bucket Plans just let me know that this was built for Royce Glader by Eric Peratt of Pinkee's Rod Shop over an 18-month period in 2004-05. That beautiful leather interior was done by PJ's Upholstery of Denver. To PJ's upholstery, I give my apprecaition and standing ovation! Eric Peratt gets a standing ovation, and I hope enough business that he someday brings down costs to where a broke guy like I can afford his expertise!

I often come across photos that I add to posts with similar items... but this time I'll just post the new stuff and links to where they would go

All those labels under these posts, and in the long column (about 1000) are there to help me, and you, find the stuff you are looking for. They sure help me find the things I recall having posted before, so I can add photos like these to the posts I want them in, or want to let you know where you can find similar things.

Photos of the unusual from days gone by thread on the HAMB

Sad.

Looks like 2 or 3 Buick bodies grafted together with an RV on top.
I just found this post on the Hemmings Blog, and it identifies this vehicle as having been called the ShamRockAway http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2011/01/31/hemmings-find-of-the-day-the-shamrockaway
if you guessed the above is a stretched Locomobile Model 48 with a 525 CI six, you're right
Never seen Jeeps on a transporter before
